Security Chief – REIPPP / Solar PV Full Time

Security Chief – REIPPP / Solar PV. Based in Cape Town you will be responsible for the safety and security of company data, personnel and assets, reviewing existing security measures and updating if necessary. Overseeing the daily operations of the company to identify potential security risks and preventing it, managing, evaluating, and resolving any security incidents, ensuring that the company’s security policies comply with federal laws and legislations.

Presenting risk assessments and improved security policies to management team members, working with management to develop and implement an appropriate budget for security measures, coordinating relationship with local communities in the field.

Required Experience:

• 2+ yrs REIPPPP.
• Bachelor’s degree in safety management, police/military academy or a similar field.
• 3+ yrs experience working as a security manager, or similar, excellent knowledge of state and federal security laws.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional managerial skills and the ability to lead a team.
• Proficiency in security management, risk assessment and analysis, ability to research and stay up to date with security trends, as well as changing government and state laws.
